FYI: After you get high enough level stop waiting for the flying ship to pick you up. Just fly over to the nearest pirate ship, land, and just wipe the mobs out as they re-spawn quickly. Low 80s should work.

The best way to get Alliance Vanguard Reputation in World of Warcraft

The best way I have found to raise my Alliance Vanguard World of Warcraft Reputation to Exalted is by repeating the 10 daily quests below. Doing these quests once a day should raise your alliance vanguard reputation 1700 points per day. This should take you 13 days to get to Exalted assuming you are starting at the bottom end of Revered. These quests are in 3 zones in Northrend; Icecrown, Grizzly Hills and Howling Fjord. It will be much less time consuming if you park your toon in the tent where the Quest givers are in Icecrown and set your Hearthstone to the InnKeeper Caris Sunlance. This way you can always start your day  off doing these quests. Exalted Alliance Vanguard Reputation is needed to get Schematic: Mekgineer's Chopper.
