If you want a Westfall Chicken wow pet you have to get some Special Chicken Feed from Farmer Saldean in Westfall and then target a chicken and spam /chicken untill you see a chat line that says "Chicken looks up at you quizzically. Maybe you should inspect it." then click on the chicken. You will then see a completed quest question mark after accepting that you will see an egg with a quest-giver "!" click on that an you will have your pet. My two videos above show what the process looks like.
Don't forget you need to have Special Chicken Feed in your bags before you start spamming the chicken.
FYI: Hoard players have to get the feed from William Saldean in Tirisfal Glades.

Wow Farming - Essence of Fire - Wow Farming Spot
Un'Goro Crater is a good spot to farm Essence of Fire. Head on over to Fire Plum Ridge and start farming the Living Blaze and Scorching Elemental's. You should be able to farm 5-10 an hour.
Wow Farming - Thick Leather - Badlands - Wow Farming Spot
Nyxondra's Broodling are a great source of Thick Leather. There are tons of the broodlings confined to a small area and the re-spawn rate is high. By the time you farm from one end to the other, the side you started from has re-spawned.
In a one hour farm I bagged 10 stack's of Thick Leather, 2 stack's of Rugged Leather, 6 Thick Hide and 5 Green magic items. This should yield close to 250 wow gold on my server.

WoW Farming - Mithril Ore - Badlands - Good Farming Spot
Badlands is a good zone to farm Mithril Ore. After a one hour farm I was able to mine 18 Stacks of Mithril Ore, 2 Stacks of Truesilver Ore, 1 stack Gold Ore and 15 assorted gems. This will bring in 100 to 500 wow gold. The image above shows the pattern I use to farm the zone.

Burning Steppes is one of the better zones to farm Mithril Ore. After a one hour farm I was able to mine 20 Stacks of Mithril Ore, 2 Stacks of Truesilver Ore, 10 Gold Ore and 10 assorted gems. This will bring in 200 to 500 wow gold. The image above shows the pattern I use to farm the zone.

If you would like to get a Black Stallion for your low level toon head on over to the Wetlands and talk to Unger Statforth. He is the one of the two vendors who sells the mount Black Stallion. The other vendor is Katie Stokx and she can be fond in Stormwind City.
WoW Farming: Iron Ore - Best Place To Farm
The best place to farm Iron Ore is Feralas. In a one hour farm I was able to mine 20 stacks of Iron Ore, 23 stacks of Heavy Stone, 13 Gold Ore, 15 Silver Ore and some various gems. This farm should yield close to 500 wow gold in one hour.

Wow Farming: Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) - Gold Farming Tip
A good way for low level Alliance toons to farm some wow gold is to head on over to Amberstill Ranch and chase down Yarlyn Amberstill. She is a little girl chasing her Snowshoe Rabbit. She sells Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) for 19 silver. You can sell Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) for 1-100 wow gold.
I recommend you don't list more than 2 in the Auction House at any one time. If you flood the market with a bunch of any one item you will sell less and drive down the price. If you add Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) to a variety of items that you sell in the AH, Rabbit Crate (Snowshoe) could add 2-500 gold per day to your daily gold yield.

Wow Farming: Gruff Swiftbite; WOW Rare Spawn
Rare spawns are always fun to hunt. The image above shows Gruff Swiftbite. I found him standing at one of the tents seen in the image above. A rare spawn, also know as a rare mob, drops greater than average treasure. A wow rare mob will almost always drop a green magic item. Gruffs treasure will usually yield 1-5 wow gold in the Auction House.
Wow Farming: Wow Gold Farming Tip - 50/50 Selling Method
One of the easiest ways to make wow gold and wow xp at the same time is to learn the mining profession. If you download the add-ons Gathermate2 and Gathermate2_Data from Curse.com you will be able to see all the possible ore nodes as they are layed out on all the wow zone maps.
The image above shows the nodes in the main map and the mini map. when you get close enough to the node it will turn into a red circle and if there is ore you will see a solid gold circle.
If you would like to optimize your gold yield form your Auction House sales I recommend you sell half the ore you min as ore and the other half as bar. I call this the 50/50 selling method
Wow Farming: Copper Ore; Best Place To Farm
A good way for a low level wow toon to make some wow gold is to mine copper ore. One of the best places to mine copper ore is Elwynn Forest. If you use my 50/50 selling method you should be able to make between 50-200 wow gold in a one hour farm. The map above shows the pattern I use to farm copper ore. While mining copper ore I like to to check the coordinates near (26, 90) for the rare spawn Gruff Swiftbite.
I recommend you download the add-ons Gathermate2 and Gathermat2_data from Curse.com. Gathermate2 combined with Gathermate2_Data will allow you to see all the mining nodes on your zone maps.

Wow Farming: Thorium Ore - Best Place to Farm
Silithus is one of the best places to farm Thorium Ore. The map above shows the pattern I fly while farming Thorium Ore. A one hour farm should yield 200 to 1000 wow gold. When you sell the Ore in the WOW Auction House be sure to sell half your farm in Thorium Bar and the other half as Thorium Ore. The half and half method will sell your ore faster. WoW Farming: Wow Gold Farming Guide: Pet Bombling
If you have an engineer with 205 skill level, get on over to Gnomeregan and maybe Mekgineer Thermaplugg will drop Schematic: Pet Bombling. One Pet Bombling can get you 50-100 wow gold in the Auction House.
Don't forget to head over to Shattrath City and pay a visit to Viggz Shinesparked he sells the Schematic: Fused Wiring. Fused Wiring is one of the matts required to make Pet Bombling.

WoW Farming: Just made 1500 wow gold in one hour on a different server.
I was able to make 1500 wow gold from the one hour farm of Silithus. It did take a little longer to sell the items in the AH, but I think this was mostly my fault. I recently moved and was without an internet connection for a week.

A commenter on one of my previous posts asked if my method for making 1000 wow gold in one hour would work on a horde toon on a different server. I created a Deathknight on the commenter's server and spent one hour farming Silithus.One Hour Farm:
- 15 Essence of Air (1500 gold AH)
- 14 Breath Of Wind (60 gold AH)
- 22 Elemental Air (40-70 gold AH)
- 4 Stacks Inert Elemental Shard (24 gold Vendor)
- 2 Stacks Inert Elemental Piece (2 gold Vendor)
Total Gold Yield = 1600 WOW Gold
