WOW Farming: How to farm wow gold on other server's.

A commenter on one of my previous posts asked if my method for making 1000 wow gold in one hour would work on a horde toon on a different server. I created a Deathknight on the commenter's server and spent one hour farming Silithus.

One Hour Farm:

• 15 Essence of Air (1500 gold AH)
• 14 Breath Of Wind (60 gold AH)
• 22 Elemental Air (40-70 gold AH)
• 4 Stacks Inert Elemental Shard (24 gold Vendor)
• 2 Stacks Inert Elemental Piece (2 gold Vendor)

Total Gold Yield = 1600 WOW Gold

I farmed 12 Essence of Air in an hour and they go for 100 wow gold each on my server.

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold in One Hour (Step 9)

I took Candrena's farming tip on making Scroll of Enchant Weapon - Agility. I just bought Formula: Enchant Weapon - Agility from Meilosh at Timbermaw Hold in Felwood. Meilosh is in a cave in the northern part of Felwood at Coordinates (64,5).

You will have to increase your reputation with Timbermaw Hold to Honored to be able to purchase the formula. All you have to do is the quests from the questgivers around the two entrances to the cave where you find Meilosh.

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold In One Hour (Step 7)

Tom is a great hunter, however, he lacks the ability to really get the most out of The Crystal Vale region of Silithus. FYI, the Coordinates for the two Dust Stormer sections are (37,17) and (27,24).

If you really want to easily make 1000 WOW gold in one hour in World of Warcraft then you need to farm the Dust Stormers with a toon that can fly, and has the Mining Profession.

Silithus is a great place to farm Thorium Ore. I like to farm one section of the Dust Stormers then fly/mine the area around The Crystal Vale as I am on route to the second section of Dust Stormers.

If you are not farming 2-3 Essence of Air every 15 minutes then you are mining too much thorium or you are competing with other farmers. See the image above for the pattern I fly.

The last four times I farmed The Crystal Vale I looted the following items:

First Hour:

• 13 Essence of Air (650-900 gold AH)
• 15 Breath Of Wind (50 gold AH)
• 21 Elemental Air (40-70 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks of Thorium Ore (100-200 gold AH)
• 10 Stacks of Dense Stone (5 gold AH)
• 5 Stacks Inert Elemental Shard (30 gold Vendor)
• 2 Stacks Inert Elemental Piece (2 gold Vendor)
• Various Gems (20 gold AH)
• 4 Green magic items (30 gold AH)

Total Gold Yield = 900 to 1300 WOW Gold

Second Hour:

• 11 Essence of Air (500-800 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks of Thorium Ore (100-200 gold AH)
• 10 Elemental Air (50 gold AH)
• 10 Stacks of Dense Stone (5 gold AH)
• 4 Stacks of Inert Elemental Shards (24 gold Vendor)
• Various Gems (50 gold AH)
• 2 Greens magic items (20 gold AH)

Total Gold Yield = 700 to 1200 WOW Gold

Third Hour:

• 7 Essence of Air (350-500 gold AH)
• 21 Breath Of Wind (70 gold AH)
• 25 Elemental Air (40-70 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks of Thorium Ore (100-200 gold AH)
• 10 Stacks of Dense Stone (5 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks Inert Elemental Shard (42 gold Vendor)
• 2 Stacks Inert Elemental Piece (2 gold Vendor)
• Various Gems (30 gold AH)
• 2 Green magic items (15 gold AH)

Total Gold Yield = 650 to 950 WOW Gold (Ouch! Bad Hour)

Fourth Hour:

• 11 Essence of Air (500-800 gold AH)
• 11 Breath Of Wind (40 gold AH)
• 22 Elemental Air (30-60 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks of Thorium Ore (100-200 gold AH)
• 9 Stacks of Dense Stone (5 gold AH)
• 7 Stacks Inert Elemental Shard (42 gold Vendor)
• 2 Stacks Inert Elemental Piece (2 gold Vendor)
• Various Gems (30 gold AH)
• 2 Green magic items (15 gold AH)
• 1 Blue Magic Item (50 gold AH)
• 6 Grey Items (4 gold Vendor)

Total Gold Yield = 800 to 1250 WOW Gold

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold In One Hour (Step 6)

After Tom mailed his one hours worth of loot, I decided to optimize his WOW gold farming hour. I took 12 of his Essence Of Air added 12 Large Brilliant Shards and 3 Vellum. I sent these 'matts' to the guild enchanter and had him create 3 Scroll of Weapon Enchant - Agility. Scroll of Weapon Enchant - Agility is going for 500-800 gold on my server. This upgrade to Tom's farming hour will yield a minimum of 1500 WoW Gold.

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold In One Hour (Step 5)

Here is how I just made 1000 gold in one hour. It will require a minimum level toon of 70. You could possibly do it with a level 53-69, however, you wont make as much gold.

Park your toon at the Inn at Cenarian Hold in Silithus. Fly out to the top left corner near The Crystal Vale. In the two sections I have marked in red on the map above are two groups of Dust Stormer's. Spend one hour farming them and then sell the loot on the AH. This should yield 1000 WOW gold. Here is what I have in my bags from one hour of farming.

• 13 Essence of Air (70g each AH)
• 12 Breath of Wind (3g Each AH)
• 21 Elemental Air (5g each AH)
• 3 Stacks of Inert Elemental Piece (Vendor this for 1g per stack)
• 7 Stacks of Inert Elemental Shard (Vendor this for 6g per stack)
• 1 Star Ruby (1g AH)
• 4 Core of Elements (1g AH)
• 1 Green magic item (5g AH)
• 5 grey items (Vendor 2g)

This should yield about 1000 WoW gold, from one hour of farming in WOW.

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold in One Hour (Step 4)

I know Candrena said that the Addon Gathermate2 and Gathermate2_Data is not required in-order to make 1000 gold in one hour in World of Warcraft. But I would like to stress the importance of this addon.

First, the Mining Profession is one of the most lucrative of all the gathering professions. The Mining Profession also awards experience points for each node you mine.

Second, the addon Gathermate2 combined with Gathermats2_Data allows you to see all the nodes of ore in any zone in your Main Map as-well as your in your Mini Map. See the image below.

WOW Farming: 1000 Gold in One Hour (Step 3)

Hi. My name is Candrena. I am the Bank Toon for WowFarmer.org. A Bank Toon is a toon that never leaves the vicinity of the Guild Bank, Auction House and the MailBox. You might be asking, "Is a Bank Toon really necessary to make 1000 gold per hour in World of Warcraft?" A Bank Toon is not necessary, but it sure makes farming and making gold in the AH (Auction House) easier.

Here is a good reason why: Its one thing to make gold with one toon, but you can make alot more gold if you create ten toons, put them all in the same guild, using one toon as a Bank Toon and the other nine can be strategically placed all around Azeroth farming the different regions for the different materials (Matts) needed in order to make the high demand items that sell for gold in the AH.

There are two more addons that will assist you in your quest for gold.

They are:

1. Auctionator


2. Postal

Auctionator makes buying and selling in the Auction House easier and Postal makes it much easier to deal with mail.

WOW Farming, 1000 Gold in One Hour (Step 1)

I would like to say its going to be easy but like most good things in life, you have to work for it.

The first thing I would like to recommend is to download the two addon's Gathermate2 and Gathermate2_data from Curse.com.

Addon's are programs that you can insert into your AddOns folder which is located at:

C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

This is how you install an addon:

Installation Guide

1. Exit "World of Warcraft" completely
2. Download the mod you want to install
   • Make a folder on your desktop called "My Mods"
   • Save the .zip/.rar files to this folder.
   • If, when you try to download the file, it automatically "opens" it... you need to RIGHT click on the link and "save as..." or "Save Target As".
3. Extract the file - commonly known as 'unzipping'
   Do this ONE FILE AT A TIME!
   • Windows
     • Windows XP has a built in ZIP extractor. Double click on the file to open it, inside should be the file or folders needed. Copy these outside to the "My Mods" folder.
     • WinRAR: Right click the file, select "Extract Here"
     • WinZip: You MUST make sure the option to "Use Folder Names" is CHECKED or it will just extract the files and not make the proper folders how the Authors designed
   • Mac Users
     • StuffitExpander: Double click the archive to extract it to a folder in the current directory.
4. Verify your WoW Installation Path
   That is where you are running WoW from and THAT is where you need to install your mods.
5. Move to the Addon folder
   • Open your World of Warcraft folder. (default is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\)
   • Go into the "Interface" folder.
   • Go into the "AddOns" folder.
   • In a new window, open the "My Mods" folder.
   • The "My Mods" folder should have the "Addonname" folder in it.
   • Move the "Addonname" folder into the "AddOns" folder
6. Start World of Warcraft
7. Make sure AddOns are installed
   • Log in
   • At the Character Select screen, look in lower left corner for the "addons" button.
   • If button is there: make sure all the mods you installed are listed and make sure "load out of date addons" is checked.
   • If the button is NOT there: means you did not install the addons properly. Look at the above screenshots. Try repeating the steps or getting someone who knows more about computers than you do to help.
